I have been manipulated, lied to and told incorrect information from ADT several times in the last 3 weeks. They owed me a refund for an incorrect charge. Was told that the funds were going to be reissued to my account within 3-5 business days, then when that didn't happen. I had to call them, argue with customer service that they'd charged me additional service fees AND never returned my refund. Which they confirmed was not returned, due to a mistake on their end. We are active duty military. We attempted to cancel service due to an overseas move and only received push back (even with a copy of orders being sent to them). We left a BBB complaint. I hope ADT familiarizes themselves with the Service-members Civil Relief Act. They’re a horrible company and we will never use them again.
ADT has to be the worst home security company when my power went out. The unit wouldn’t work then it started buzzing and alarm went off when I called ADT they said they couldn’t do anything to reset it the thing ran all night long. My animals went crazy and I about went crazy. I finally shut the power off to the house totally because their battery doesn’t work the alarm died. When I called ADT, they were like so what? I canceled and ripped the thing out of the wall They’re the biggest rip off there is
Please if you looking for home security NEVER deal with ADT. All they care is about your money BUT not securing your family . After your 3 years contract they will keep charging You even if you ask for a cancellation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with ADT
If I could do -0 stars I would. ADT maybe one of the worst companies I’ve ever did business with they would jerk you around. It’s almost impossible to get in touch with someone once You sign the contract you can kiss yourself goodbye. They ignore your calls, even though they may be at fault For any kind of damage or anything that may happen to their equipment, they will not replace it. They jerk you around and also the contract.
