I had an appointment with ADT to set my equipment up. I was given a 4 hour window of when the service technician would come out. After the service tech missed the window, I called ADT and they said that they canceled my appointment over a week before my appointment date and didn't call me as to say why, or try to change the appointment date. Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of my time

I've seen A LOT of Negative reviews on ADT and I can understand a lot of peoples frustrations. I'll tell you my true story with ADT which started in January 2025, and why I'm still with them.... In January 2025 I had someone living with me, push me and take my phone, police called, protection orders, etc. Called ADT to have security cameras put up for my own safety. Worst integrity and scam of a company I have ever dealt with. If you have a rep come, run. We have been caught in repeated contracts for years, had the impossible task of trying to move services with the reps unable to do so, and poor quality systems which simply don't work. If you have an extra 6k laying around go for it on signing up
Stay away from adt. Their customer service is horrible even loyalty department. They never keep their word. Give your business to local companies
