My first experience dealing with a door to door salesman. I’m glad I learned my lesson, I will never let another scam artist into my home. The way this company conducts is business is horrendous. They deceive you and pressure you into signing papers so they can take your money and charge you even more money when you cancel. I told the technician I did not want cameras in my home(there’s a camera in my kitchen). Customer service pretty much told me “sucks to be you man.” Do not ever do business with this company.
Predatory business. Undisclosed charges, inequitable contracts, garbage hardware, and incomplete setup. ADT services extended and based out of Clinton deserve criminal charges. ADT makes false promises by sales representatives, outsources services and then claims no association or culpability. Can't wait until our contract is up. Their customer service is awful, they are rude and have no clue how to solve the issue I have been having since September and STILL haven't had any luck with fixing the problem UPDATE I am STILL dealing with a company that has no clue what they are doing. How is it that you are closed at 7:33 PM, but have people out soliciting your services? A special thank you to Matthew for loudly pounding on my door like he was being murdered. Not once, not twice, but THREE times. Then after I came to the door with 4 barking dogs behind me, and my once-sleeping baby in my arms, the dedication you had to still attempt your pitch. Your loyalty to ADT is only second to your true lack of self-awareness. Well done, ADT. 5 stars - Said no one ever.
This company has a rolling 12-month agreement and will force you to pay the remainder of the agreement even if you're moving out to an apartment that won't allow you to use their service. Absolutely crooked company. Will never use again.
