We moved to a new house. ADT connected us to a local rep who assured us that if we set up a new subscription at our new house, the old one would be cancelled with no further payments needed on the old contract. The contract I signed also attested to this. After the install, I called into the Relocation team to make sure they had the change. They stopped the monthly billing and sent me a bill for $1023.78 for early cancellation (remainder of contract). Wish I could leave 0 stars. They got me. Had the old system in my old house. We moved and the “customer service rep” lied to me about what the cost was going to be at the new house. Absolutely hate this new system. Paying double for it. I’m under contract for 2 years. When my last day on contract is over I’m burning it all in my fire pit. Had I known this is how they do business, I would have never started with bs company. I hope a lot of people read my review and go elsewhere. They lie to you to make money. A young salesperson used a high-pressure tactic and made a concerning excuse to enter my home when only my 14-year-old sister was present. I came home from work to find him inside, engaging in a sales pitch. I immediately asked him to leave, but he continued pressing his pitch and ignored my request. I had to ask him multiple times before he finally exited the home. This behavior was completely unacceptable and inappropriate, especially given that a minor was involved and no adult had given permission to enter.
Look at all other reviews, their Google rating is worse than Little Caesars, this is not a trustworthy company at all, that should be the most important aspect when asking a company to set up your security system! There is absolutely no way for you to call and get a hold of an agent or a supervisor at your local office, all calls are routed or redirected to Florida, representatives that you get a hold of on the business end are not only rude and lack customer service skills, but hang up on customers, Spoke to a Heather on th... read more
