The experience that i've endured with ADT has been awful. Kate amongst other employees have no common sense or sense of empathy. I have been with adt now going into my 3rd year and i wish i never listened to anyone about getting their service. When I was renting a home the lady never once mentioned that i shouldn't place an alarm system in a temporary home. ADT is the worst. Whenever you make appointment with them in a 4 hour window the technician would come earlier before the appointment and not call you to see if someone is on site. This has happened 3 times and when you call into customer service they will tell you they aren't sending anyone back out and to make another appointment. Even though it is the technician error. Or they would come and leave before you get to the site. When need something you have pay for it and still have to install it your self. Bad business. Even... read more

The installer Adam McDonald saw that I was busy with other contractors and added additional pieces even after I said no (a motion sensor and numerous flood monitors). I called ADT to return the equipment that I told the installer that I did not want -- Now I'm stuck paying for additional monitoring and additional service costs. On page 9 of the contract its states that customers have 3 days to return equipment. Page 9 of a contact that is presented at the time of installation. ⚠️-15 Stars! Their equipment has not improved at all. ADT is quick to take that payment but slow to correct their glitches. Hurry up and wait... Hurry, make your payments and wait for the breakdowns... Especially, the cameras and thermostats. Everything is a charge... Money hungry but starving, in the quality dept. I've been with ADT for many years and it seems like, since it was sold the last time, it went down in quality...
