Had a guy come to our door. He wanted to put up a sign in our yard in "exchange" for some cameras. When I asked if he had any information so I could contact him, he said because he was his physical card. After looking at many of the reviews on here and on Reddit, I am glad I declined the whole thing. I have had ADT forever, but my elderly mother is a new customer. The company could not get their billing to work for her service, only her equipment. She has spent HOURS AND HOURS as I have as well, trying to get them to fix their monthly billing to take the money out. She is 80 and they only offered the app for pmt, not mailing. Which is already a challenge. We called in May, which was 6 months after getting the system and remedied the billing, paid $450 to get her back up to date and they were supposed to reinstate her mon... read more
Never go with ADT. Any issues you have will be placed on the parent company and when you call them they'll place it on the provider. Systems are barely functioning after a few months and they're all Google hardware anyway.
Unable to reach them via phone after numerous attempts! No one from main departments of ADT is even sure if they still exist in this area. Strongly recommend exploring other options.
We were hesitant because of some of the reviews. But went ahead anyway and are glad we did. We had Tyler come and install our system. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything and addressed our concerns. He also gave us his opinions for the placement of cameras and sensors. It seems to be working great and giving us peace of mind. I would highly recommend Tyler if you're thinking of getting a system installed with ADT.
