If I could give less...I would. I have had ADT for YEARS and YEARS. They owe me a refund and I have waited over a month. It's not about the amount of money...it is the LIES, the LIES, the LIES. I did well not to speak like I FELT to the employees on the other end however, I did not hesitate to tell them what happened. Had a guy come to our door. He wanted to put up a sign in our yard in "exchange" for some cameras. When I asked if he had any information so I could contact him, he said because he was his physical card. After looking at many of the reviews on here and on Reddit, I am glad I declined the whole thing. I am not sure what type of contract he was going to try to get us to sign, but I am going to guess it is not worth it. I have had ADT forever, but my elderly mother is a new customer. The company could not get their billing to work for her service, only her equipment. She has spent HOURS AND HOURS as I have as well, trying to get them to fix their monthly billing to take the money out. She is 80 and they only offered the app for pmt, not mailing. Which is already a challenge. We called in May, which was 6 months after getting the system and remedied the billing, paid $450 to get her back up to date and they were supposed to reinstate her mon... read more
Never go with ADT. Any issues you have will be placed on the parent company and when you call them they'll place it on the provider. Systems are barely functioning after a few months and they're all Google hardware anyway.
Unable to reach them via phone after numerous attempts! No one from main departments of ADT is even sure if they still exist in this area. Strongly recommend exploring other options.
