The online call center team for cancelling is most definitely scammers. they will lie and also start yelling at you until you get frustrated. I am still paying for 66$ a month for an address that i lived in 2 years ago and they wont cancel. I am sure any of the call center employees can easily confirm what i am saying.
This review is not necessarily for this specific location but ADT corporate. Their multiple websites and apps and functionality of sites... Why so many different apps?? I spent multiple days chatting online and calling and talking to reps only to be disconnected. Today was no different, spent 2 hours just trying to add a credit card, consolidate bill for 4 locations. Eventually have the last agent on chat tell me I have to call to change credit card number!!! Ridiculous.
Complete scam artists! They'll tell you your alarm will cost you $99 which you'll get back as a rebate. They'll say whatever it takes to get you to commit but when they show up for the install they break the news to you that each season will cost ya $150 per window. Liars and they won't even hard wire the panel, it needs an outlet to plug in. Complete hoax and cons. Also, DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD AS THEY STILL BILLED ME DESPITE CANCELING THE INSTALLATION.
Hate dealing with this company, no one knows what they’re doing.
Review for ADT Security I’ve been an ADT customer for nearly 3 years, and I’ve never been more frustrated with a company in my life. Trying to cancel or even get a straight answer has been worse than dealing with Comcast. One minute I’m being told there’s a cancellation fee and I’m breaking a contract, the next minute someone offers me 3 months free and says I can cancel after that with no issue.
