I am only giving one star because the system will not allow me to give a worse rating. The ADT system itself is awful. The app is terrible and customer service is average at best. It is truly lacking compared to their competition. Vivint and/or CPI are significantly better. Do not get an ADT system.
I want to introduce Charles, an ADT installer from the Morrisville, NC office, whom everyone should ask to be their installer. Charles arrived at the house on time. Unfortunately, the information from the 90-minute session I had with the salesperson was not transferred to his installation instructions. He stopped, took a thorough survey of the house, and discussed my security concerns. They are the most unscrupulous company on the planet. Rude and unprofessional, at every level. They sell you a system with a smile and false promises, then they run away once they have your money.
They hire the nastiest customer service people that I have ever dealt with. Is it so difficult to find qualified people with good people skills to answer the phone?
