ADT is a scam. ADT got my information from Google nest and started charging me for service I never asked for. Trying to get this worked out with ADT is worse than pulling teeth. Scam company, I will tell every person I know about how bad ADT is.
Do not go with ADT they will scam you. I had equipment I was being charged for that they did not install. When I asked to cancel they told me I would have to call back in a week when they could see my bill, then I was told I was outside the cancelation window. It took them several month and a BBB complaint for someone to even respond to me.
I have been manipulated, lied to and told incorrect information from ADT several times in the last 3 weeks. They owed me a refund for an incorrect charge. Was told that the funds were going to be reissued to my account within 3-5 business days, then when that didn't happen. I had to call them, argue with customer service that they'd charged me additional service fees AND never returned my refund. Which they confirmed was not returned, due to a mistake on their end. Predatory rates and policies. I paid them for a whole year and only wanted one year. They kept charging me while the device and sensors would not work. I am absolutely dissatisfied with their service and customer care. I'm in the verge of losing my property and they still wanted me to keep paying for servicing that does not work.
Don’t do it just don’t do it!!! They trap you into a contract And make you pay for these Google devices that literally suck!!!! They take forever to load! If you’re gonna get stuck into a contract go with Vivint. They at least hardwired my doorbell, and the camera is better.
