I began seeing Dr. Pop for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), as he provides IPL. After spending about $1500 for four sessions, I didn't notice any relief. After speaking to my Ophthamologist, it became painfully clear as to why: The gold standard for treating MGD is to heat the glands and their surrounding tissues, with a technology like IPL, AND TO PHYSICALLY EXPRESS THEM IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS. Walked in here yesterday with a possible medical eye emergency and was welcomed with open arms by the receptionist and Dr. Pop. Words cannot even express the amount of compassion and professionalism I was treated with, not to mention being squeezed into their very busy schedule. The office looked very clean and modern. I am beyond grateful for the experience provided by the entire staff. THANK YOU!
