If I could give Jennifer 10 stars, I would. I’ve been in therapy for about 2ish years, and the person I am today is stronger, more confident, and more at peace. She is always able to cut through the noise and get to the core of issues, teaching me very helpful lessons about setting boundaries, understanding my values, and acknowledging my worth (“Be the cupcake, let other people be the icing and sprinkles!”). I went through most of my adult life accepting the fact that I'm a man and I have to deal with whatever life may bring. That was until work started to bleed into my life. Adorned Counseling not only helped me address the problems I didn't notice, but they created a plan to help me overcome future episodes. My first experience in therapy was awesome! I would recommend them to the world!
Making the decision to see a therapist is monumental; it was important that I be heard without judgement, understood despite my differences, and led positively by a true professional. I have found those things in Adorned Counseling, and it has made a difference!
This office had issues from the beginning. Set my daughter up with one of their therapists and it seemed like she was always late or canceling. They reached out and told us we were being charged a missed appt fee ($75) for missing an appt I’m almost 100% positive we canceled because of our vacation. I didn’t throw a fit because I didn’t have proof and wasn’t 100%. Come to find out your first missed appt is free. Supposedly that was credited back to my card. We simply LOVE Jennifer!!! She recently participated in our Unmasking Mental Health Mixer in celebration of our organization's 2nd birthday.
