This is the most an unethical company I have ever encountered. It is all about the money and as soon as they have your check, you’ll be an afterthought, on a list with 300 other families. Of course they’ll call you once a month, and tell you’ve had so many views and inquiries but nothing will ever come of it. Please save yourself the heartache.
Avoid ANLC at all costs. They are unethical and run a business for their own benefit, not yours. ANLC placed us with a birthmother in Pennsylvania. Turns out she was a German national, in the U.S. without proper papers. The absentee American birthfather would not sign off on waiving his parental rights. ANLC was of no help. We had to hire a private attorney to try to facilitate, however, in PA the birthfather's rights cannot be terminated unilaterally. orrible experience. When I think of mislead, false hope i think of them. They sure know how to paint the perfect picture for you.... I was so excited as I handed over my money the first time..... Truth be told, I am too embarrased to tell anyone how much I paid them in total. I will say I had to sell a home and my last message was let's try ... just ... one more time. Zach I cannot offer you a good place to go but I can tell you, trust me... this is NOT it.
