I’m deeply concerned about the practices at this facility. On June 27th at 12:58 AM, police reports over the radio were heard regarding an incident on Serrano Street where the facility's staff member, an Asian male chef, was struck with a metal pipe. The report also notes that the client, a child in their care, allegedly was stabbed by the staff member in the neck. This place is not good in my opinion. I had a bad time with them. First off, they lied to me about certain things to get me to seek their service. When I went to drop off my daughter they weren’t ready at all. I was told they will be ready with security to make sure my daughter didn’t throw a fit about staying. I made it very clear to them she wouldn’t take this good and more then likely throw a fit and act up. We were deeply impressed by their holistic treatment approach. The residential treatment program for substance abuse was compassionate and very well organized. The team treated more than just the symptoms—they helped my child work through anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders with both individual therapy and family sessions. The facility is warm, welcoming, and really feels like a home, not a hospital. Couldn’t be more grateful.
