One of my teens has ongoing struggles with various issues, so I'm (unfortunately) more than a little familiar with treatment facilities of various sorts, ranging from hospital mental health holding areas, to short-term and long-term residential facilities to day treatment programs and outpatient therapy. Dr. Panio is an amazing man, he fought for me in ways no one in my life would. This place did great things for me and I loved every minute of being here, even when it was really hard to be. ( I spent christmas and thanksgiving snowed in there)
I just read all of the bad press on Google. I don't care whether Dr. Pantio was accredited or not. I had great therapists and great treatment at AFIC as a kid. This place changed my life in immeasurable ways. I don't know where I'd be today without AFIC, but I am very thankful for my time spent there.
