I went to Dr Rodriguez for a swollen salivary gland and he did a biopsy on the first appt. I had already had a CT scan of the salivary gland from the emergency room at the hospital. When the results came back he told me I needed to have surgery right away to remove it because there were a bunch of lymphocytes showing up. He told me it would leave a horrible scar going down from my ear following my jaw line until just about under my chin. IF YOU LIKE BEING TOLD ONE PRICE, THEN BILLED FOR MORE THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Saw Dr. Rodriguez on 10/9/25 for a throat exam. Was quoted one price for an exam copay of $60. Upon my examination Dr. Rodriquez suggested I do a nasal scope along with a CT scan as it would be more beneficial to rule out anything. I asked if it would be an additional charge and he and his assistant who were in the room stated they would go check with the front desk. For personal reasons, I prefer not to have male doctors, but there were no female ENTs covered by my insurance. From the very first appointment, Dr. Rodriguez was extremely understanding, respectful, and professional about this. I left this appointment feeling rushed, dismissed, and pressured into costly treatments without adequate explanation. The doctor moved very quickly through my visit and did not take the time to thoroughly review or discuss the severity of my allergies, which was the main reason for my appointment.
