I don't think so I just relocated and needed a new vet. I had a hard time believing the reviews so I visited Adobe Vet Clinic myself. I don't know if he's a good vet or not but I would never bring my pets here. It does not look (or smell) clean. It's old. I'm not sure what low standards are acceptable for operating a pet health care facility in Petaluma, but I'm looking for a place that doesn't require wiping your shoes when you leave the building.
Decent but not my favorite While I have had no issues with the Dr. himself, I have had a few issues where the staff seemed to be less than competent. Twice my dog had complications with care provided by the vet techs. Both issues were after my dogs received shots (microchipping and vaccine). At my previous vet, he had never had issues. Again, nothing long lasting or permanent, but still not my favorite office either. PROS: Docs are good, location convenient CONS: Techs so-so, office a bit old and dingy.
Shouldn't the place be clean? Filthy conditions (old house, old smell), overpriced, cramped conditions where sick pets will have to interact and cross-contaminate each other...If you and your pet are accustomed to drinking the water in Mexico, you may be bold enough to visit this vet. homey hospital My vet for the past 3 years. The staff is very personalble and friendly and responsive. The doctor was very knowledgable and handled my pet as if it was his own. I am pleased to feel my pets are in good hands.
Dr. Raymond Visco is the best!!!!! I love Adobe Family Pet Clinic! I can't say enough about Dr. Visco. He is very knowledgable and the staff has always been very helpful and kind. I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful Veterinary Hospital.

Love my Vet! Seldom do I take the time to post a review, but Adobe Family Pet Clinic is such a wonderful and caring pIace I would be remiss if I did not share my experiences with them. A HAPPY long-time client I just want to say that I have been taking my 2 dogs and 2 cats to Adobe Family Pet Clinic for several years now and have always been more than satisfied with any diagnoses and care I have received there. I find Dr. Visco and his staff to be extremely kind and friendly. As for the "delapidated old house" I would rather go to a small practice that's kind and homey than a large cold facility any day. Dr. Visco is the best and smartest vet! Dr. Visco diagnosed and healed my cat's eye when 3 other vets couldn't (one was an eye specialist). Maybe it's because he is a Phd as well as a veterinarian. He also saved my Rottweiller who needed emergency surgery and she was up and doing great right away and is now 12 years old!
