A Truly Caring Doctor Doctor Bock is awesome! From the moment you meet him you can tell that he truly cares about animals. And the animals sense that he has their well-being at heart. He is honest about what treatment is needed and if the outcome is not that good - you can tell that his heart is hurting as much as yours. We need more doctors - both animal and human - who have his qualifications and kind heart. I highly recommend him and I am so glad that he is the vet for all my pets.
We have always received extraordinarily competent, polite, and accurate assistance and advice for our two shelter dogs from Dr. Kay. When appropriate, he takes a conservative approach to treatment--which saves money, avoids risk, and is humane. Although we recently moved to the foothills west of Boulder (20 minutes further away), we will continue to take our dogs to Dr. Kay!
Worst Veterinary Hospital Ever – Dr. Bock is long gone, he was an excellent man and Veterinarian. Dr. Kay is a piece of garbage to put it at its best. He will gouge you. He is a poor excuse for a man and should have his license revoked. SoBo Animal Hospital (what they are now called) will charge you for anything and everything at the highest rate possible. Hospital with Heart I worked with Dr. Kay for 4 1/2 years at Meadows A.C. and took time off to have my daughter. I have recently returned because I have known him to be consistently caring and honest. I feel good about working here because I know that both Dr. Kay and Dr. Johnson go the extra mile to give the best patient care. They vaccinate much less frequently and care more about the overall health and wellness of the pet. too bad Dr Bock left – Will never go there again, either. Dr Bock was excellent but has retired. I was very happy with the care my pets received Dr Bock. The current vets practice excessive testing and repeatedly contradict the advice and recommendations of Dr Bock. The current practice is bottom line driven; I have found no redeeming characteristics. They are very good at taking your money.
Beware of the care! Dr. Bock is now gone which leaves Dr's Kay and Johnson. Both are egomaniacs who lack compassion for clients and pets. You will be overcharged and under appreciated by these two doctors. There are many other veterinarians to go to, do yourself a favor.
Veternary services with a heart I have been going to Meadows Animal Hospital for several years for my cats. I started going to them as they provided services for Rocky Mountain Siamese Rescue. Their support and excellent care of my animals and my foster animals over the years has been wonderful. They have gone above and beyond for our needs and always have time to assist with any needs we present. Would never go here again – Did not do a single test when I brought my cat in and told him she had a history of stroke. A week later she became very ill and they would not see her because they did not have appointments available. Took her to another vet and found out that her high b.p associated with hyperthyroidism had caused another stroke. I believe this could have been avoided had he listened to me and been more aggressive about checking her health.
