I was almost hit today by a van that was clearly marked as ADNA Contracting near Middlefield and McNicoll going southbound. Despite the Highway Traffic Act stating that vehicles must keep one metre distance when passing people cycling, the driver of the ADNA Contracting van passed (at a high rate of speed) leaving only an inch or two of space, whilst also driving in the bike lane. Whoever was driving today did so dangerously and recklessly, and needs to learn how to drive safer.
This was my first experience with a contractor so I wasn’t really sure the right questions to ask, but I knew what I wanted my project to look like as an end result. 6 months prior to the project I reached out to about 10 different contractors, many wouldn’t do my project as simple as it was.
