Dr. Maggs is the best. She's super helpful, everything has been on time and affordable. Not sure what everyone is crying about.
Anne the receptionist is dismissive, and does not take patients’ concerns seriously. While the doctor herself was kind and knowledgeable when I spoke with her, Anne has been consistently unhelpful, and ineffective at communicating important information between me and the doctor. She made no effort to appeal my prior authorization denial, brushed off my concerns, and miscommunicated my dosage preferences, which could have impacted my care. I initially liked this place, but that changed after the first visit. They treat you well only until you become a client. They’ll schedule your first appointment quickly, but after that, everything gets delayed. Avoid doing your blood work there—go to Quest instead. This clinic takes forever for everything and doesn’t value your time, money, or effort. I do not like leaving reviews unless I can be the cheerleader and leave high ones. I was referred to Arjuva by a friend and I was so excited as I just had a major surgery and needed the help. The communication in this office is terrible. First calls back and forth trying to figure out if my insurance would. Work. Due to my surgery there literally should have been nothing out of pocket for me. That was my understanding. Loved the doctor but there was no explanation of how much I would have to pay up front to have the pellets.... read more
