So glad progressive no longer uses them for homeowners. Terrible customer service with never ending increase in rates each year. Had damage to my roof after a high wind storm. The adjuster who came out to the house declined my claim and never pulled out a ladder. I was told by the adjuster that he doesn't go on roofs. After telling them this it is unacceptable to deny a claim without actually getting up there, they said they would get a local company to come inspect. Weeks go by and never hear anything. Absolutely terrible my husband and I were victims of a hit and run by one of their customers! $1300.00 in damages for them to say they're not covering it cause their client claims it wasn't them. So they basically have no problem continuing coverage for criminals that hit and run, possibly drunk driving and then reckless driving when they took off 95 mph to get away! I completely understand the reviews now trash company for trash clients!

I experienced a nightmarish ordeal with Adirondack insurance after my car was stolen on October 8th. The claims process was excruciatingly slow, with agent Judy Chen displaying a shocking lack of knowledge and responsiveness. Despite the car being located, she consistently gave me the runaround for four months, often failing to answer crucial calls or respond to emails in a timely manner. 8 years I have had them for my home owners insurance. I had a wind storm hit my house which is covered in my policy. Adjuster came out and agreed with contractors my roof needed repaired. Adirondack kept sending different adjusters out until one said I didn't need repairs. Then they told me they weren't covering anything. Took them 4 months to tell me this. I have missing siding and visible missing shingles from the wind storm. Lawsuit

My adjuster was Anthony. When he filed the claim on 5/11 I was quickly paid, but the auto repair shop told me he didn’t order any of the correct parts. Turns out they were on back order so I had to wait until 7/30 to get my car fixed. At that point I was no longer a customer of Adirondack and they refused to pay my rental car fee even though rentals were 100% covered under my policy.
