They will hit you with any possible fee they can. My account overdrew by $.99 and I didn’t notice it right away and they hit me with a $38 overdraw fee. That’s asinine, it was 99 cents! And the fees to transfer YOUR OWN MONEY from savings to checking, shouldn’t even be a thing. But it is with this lovely bank. Had accounts with them since I was in high school but not anymore. I am a long time summer visitor to Old Forge so I went in today to open a checking account for convenience’s sake in the summer. My husband and I plan to retire to Old Forge within the next five years, so it was going to be the start of a long term banking relationship. I was told the bank had a rule that I could not open an account without documentation of a local address in the area. Currently we rent during our visits, so that wasn’t an option. I'm continuousy being charged a $3 fee for returned mail. Did it cost you $3 to send to me? I doubt it! Can't wait to be done with this bank.
