The pricing is a bit sneaky: they advertise a low hourly rate, but that doesn’t include the automatic $85 “service fee.” Also, they use a ton of shrink wrap and charge $70 a roll for it. While the movers were punctual, they moved extremely slowly stretching a small, short move into 3.5 hours. I used Oz Moving a couple years ago, and they moved much more stuff in exactly 3 hours.
Got quoted BASE price of $479 to move anything, after telling me it was only $109 cash $119 credit per hour. This was their surprise equation: BUT it's a minimum three hours PLUS 75 dollar for mandatory BUBBLE WRAP charge. Sooooo 479 minimum. They lie to get you to buy :). I wanted to move a singular disassembled bed frame 2 miles, and after reading another 1 star reviewer who was too intimidated to post the review.... I have to. Go anywhere else.
Adept was AMAZING. They were punctual, professional and extremely quick (without missing the attention to detail and care for our items) I will 100% recommend them to anyone I know that is planning to move. Thank you for making moving a breeze!
