I am writing this review to express my deep concern and frustration over the unacceptable care my mother received at Adena Regional Medical Center during the month of August 2025.. During a routine surgical procedure, my mother was injured due to the medical team’s failure to ensure her safety while under their care. Spent an hour waiting to see the doctor for a check up, spent more time with the nurse than the doc, asked a question, and got a $50 bill for it. Disputed it and took a year plus several calls to find it out while they sent it to collections. Escalations was nice and only reason they got a star. Go somewhere else.

A year ago my neurologist told me he could do nothing else for me. Not being able to live with the pain, I went in again to at least try to get relief medicine. He said to come back in six weeks and called in a prescription. Please explain why I got four weeks of medicine with no refills. Also, keep all your receipts as billing isn't what it should be either.

Yesterday was quoted $92 for a “wellness check” from a gentleman at Adena (didn’t get a name). Received a phone call today verifying some information. Lady I spoke with today told me it’s actually $130. I asked about the other quote, and she said she has no idea what the other gentleman was referring to. Price difference isn’t the issue, it’s the inconsistency. Sounds like they need stronger training in the reception/pricing aspect.
