I have to say before my arrival, I was quite sceptical about the experience. But it is actually much better than expected Free mini bar I was able to request late checkout ( although not my usual 4 pm , but initially I expected they would flat out refuse it ) Spacious bathroom

Really upset, I wish I could give the rooms a higher rating as the beds alone would be worthy of a 5*... sadly the rooms remind me of a stay in a phyciatric ward, everything is stainless steel even in the bathroom which gave me "institution" vibes when I am positive they were going for artistic. Over all, rooms feel slapped together like a dodgy extention or cubicle. For what we paid for the room I would rather go else where to feel more comfortable in my room. Not a bad hotel. Rooms are spacious, cleaned daily, breakfast is decent. The highlight is the location. Within stone's throw of shopping, eating and entertainment of all kids. Melbourne Arts District is just round the corner, KINO Cinema is 500m, dozens of restaurants all around. The hotel sits right on top of NOMAD, one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. Comfy beds - large rooms and bathrooms - terrific location ! Location is amazing but the hotel itself seems a bit run down. Everything is closed: the restaurant, the lobby bar, the pool bar. Hardly any staff are working and nobody to greet you at the door or help with bags. The amenities are minimal and there is some definite signs that the furniture and spaces are worn out and not exactly spotless.
