We had a wonderful 1 night staycation at the Aldephi Hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and we loved the complimentary snacks. While the free breakfast was a bit lackluster and the shower was a tad dirty and rusty bits, the hotel’s location more than made up for it—it’s conveniently situated right in the heart of the main attractions and shopping areas. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.
**Updated review** First stay Nov 2014 next stay Dec 2025. 2014 review....Stayed here for 1 night with my sister in Oct 2014. We had the twin room. It was spacious as was the bathroom. The complimentary snacks were fab. The breakfast and staff were awesome. The pool rooftop=fabulous. Now comes the negative feedback. We had a room overlooking the alley way. Absolutely zero sleep. My wife and I attended an evening theatre show and instead of going home after the show, my wife organised a stay over at the Adelphi Hotel which is situated on Flinders Lane near the town hall / Swanston St end. Lovely small hotel with modern spacious rooms and a rooftop outdoor pool as well. Perfectly located within walking distance to all the Melbourne CBD has to offer visitors and guests. Extremely Disappointing Stay at Adelphi Hotel Melbourne I’m genuinely shocked this property markets itself as a high-end boutique hotel, because my experience was closer to a 3-star stay at best. Arrival & Check-In: There is no lift or facility to get luggage from street level up to reception, and no staff offered to help. Really disappointing stay. The pool wasn’t working, but no one mentioned that to us upon arrival. The room itself felt pretty cold and uncomfortable. Feels like they need a bit of a facelift. We spent most of our time away from the hotel. Wouldn’t stay here again.
