Because I was concerned about a mark on my arm, I asked a local Doctor for a recommendation and he recommended Dr. Haimovic. I researched her and was impressed by both the fact that she is affiliated with NYU Langone and her education training ; experience and Board Certification. I made an appointment in February and the soonest I could be seen was June. Now just a few weeks out they called to reschedule my appointment because the doctor won’t be in. Soonest availability isn’t for another few months. Save your time and find another provider.
I was referred to Dr Haimovic by my family doctor and she was excellent. I thought I might have to do a biopsy and even though it’s considered a tiny procedure I still wanted to go to someone with surgery background because it was a spot on my face. My biopsy scar is still healing but I thought Dr Haimovic did a perfect job and she talked me through the entire process. Highly recommend her.
What a great experience it was being seen by Dr Haimovic. She is extremely knowledgable and personable. I felt like my skin was in good hands!
She is hands down one of my favorite doctors ever - in any specialty. I have gone to her several times when I've needed an abscess treated and while one would think that a pain-free and easy experience would be standard, trust me, at other doctors it has not always been the case - but with Dr. Haimovic it's a nervous person's dream come true.
