Dr. Ahmed definitely takes his patients health serious. I would gladly recommend him to anyone.
I was glad he had knowledge of heart blocks caused by allergic reaction to lidocaine. His recommendations are sensible and I felt he understood the best steps for ensuring I don’t have future problems while also taking care of my heart health.
I was referred to Dr Ahmed because my primary heard a new heart murmur. I had zero symptoms and was concerned because I’m waiting for hip surgery. He explained heart murmurs and why add’l tests were needed. After those tests, he explained the results and why I needed a heart cath. He put a rush on it since I was waiting for my hip surgery. His office staff is efficient and knowledgeable as well. Nurse sat and explained procedure and what I could/couldn’t do after. Very pleased and would recommend.

Terrible experience. I went in to find out why I was having heart palpitations. This doc spent about 5 minutes with me and then immediately sent me to a room where a woman was going to add a device to me. Everything in my insurance requires referrals so while in the office I called my insurance company to verify that this device would be covered. My visit to see Dr. Ahmed was great. It was getting blood taken at the hospital that was taken by the receptionist that took an hour. She said they had no help to do the test.
He is the kindest , most thorough physician. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else . He always takes his time to listen to me and that means so much!
His nurse and him are excellent in what they do. They both listen and talk to you. They make sure you know what you need to know before you leave.
