BEWARE OF ADDUS!!!!! I have used Addus Homecare and the Daycare services for my aging parent. I am writing this review to WARN anyone who truly cares for their loved ones to NOT USE ADDUS FOR ANY SERVICES. There were problems with the Daycare so decided to try the homecare, but with preferred workers providing the in home services. I was warned to not use workers in which Addus assigns to your home. Horrible horrible company! – They abandoned my mother! They were suppose to send someone while my PCA was on vacation, and they didn t even bother responding to my complaints. They lie to the PCAs, promising health care benefits, and they reneged. Avoid at all costs, for the health of your loved ones.

THE WORST!! – Three dif employees over three weeks. Each worse than the one before. The one who didn't immediately start loading her care with my friends property showed up an hour late and left 45 min early each day and yet the insurance was billed for as if she was there. When you talk to the office you get a run around. I suspect they were sharing the stolen booty from my friends home with their THIEF employees.

Home health aides provides a service – I have been thru 5 CNA/home health aides in a 2 month period. The worker show up at your home from Addus (Homewood illinois location) with any type of I.D. that says they are from Addus home health, this is really unprofessional- they tell seniors to not let anyone in without an I. D. ( the telephone man, gas company workers etc) but these workers show up without an I.D. an say that the company does not have I.D. s.
