I lived here for two years. The place is decorated pretty great and I really like the location, but the apartment company and the house manager are awful. I subleased the house with two new roommates for my second year over here. I submitted the subleasing form in February. However, the house representative told us at the end of March that we had to pay the new residence price instead of subleasing house price. Lived here for a year. PROS: 1. Spacious and modern apartments, with dishwashers and thermostat for the bedrooms. 2. Great location for going to UC Berkeley or commuting via BART. Trader Joe's is a block away. So many bus stops close by. 3. Pretty good sound insulation - you can hear when neighbors are having a party, and can smell when they're smoking through the wall, though. 4.
