I love these guys like family! Marcy and the Doc were both extremely influential on my continuing recovery. The inclusiveness of the groups and tailored services are determined to fit the needs of the clients. I really miss these guys but I have moved to Colorado and have rebuilt a happy and successful new life. I stay grateful and connected to my higher power. I also have a home group and an awesome 12-step family here at the Grand Junction Alano Club! God Bless
Started an intake . Went to a few groups . Spoke to Marci a counselor for part of the intake process for about an hour. Was told by the owner without a complete intake done that I've been diagnosed as schizo . HAHA. Answered clearly when they asked do I hear voices , no I do not. Mentioned V2K which is something on Google that anyone can read about . I do have a personal psychiatrist who has spent time with me and was def. NOT diagnosed with schizo. Great place to address addiction and mental health. Most recently we went on a spiritual hike in Indian Canyon that was fantastic. The photo is from the top of the trail. The people here are caring and knowledgeable. Your treated with dignity. I came here straight from inpatient treatment at ABC. Definitely has had a great impact on my recovery. You are taken through an assortment of methods that address addiction and mental health. There is alot of unity here. Definitely recommend.
