DO NOT RENT When I first moved into Losson Garden , I loved it, until I saw what really went on. When I complained about neighbors, nothing happened. They accused us of having a dog because the property manager heard "noise" coming from the apartment. IT WAS MY SON PLAYING. He also stepped on the tracks for the doors and at a whopping 30 lbs, shattered it. My friend's parents cleaned for them and even said the owner uses the cheapest things in hopes they break. Really nice places, and convenient to UB North Campus. I found the property very pleasant and clean. My apartment was 3 minutes from the Campus (by car) and about a 7 minute walk on nice day. Rent was reasonable, with free Internet Access. Apartment was located near numerous business and recreation outlets, as well as 3 major Malls. Has offstreet parking, and an underground garage. Looked around last year (my first semester) and ADCO was best for me. This is my second semester and wouldn/t stay anywhere else.
DO NOT RENT!!!!! Do NOT rent from this company! They are basically out to get as much money out of you as they can and do as little work as possible. Their apartments have flooded, their maintenance men are careless fools that damage your residence or personal property without care, and if you have a problem with a neighbor or an issue with your apartment... forget it. Tenant I live in the Losson Garden Apartments for three years, and have found Adco to be easy and accomdating to work with. They changed my air conditioner without me asking for it. The old owner just plugged the hole. The property never has looked so good. I am very impressed and would recomend Adco to any one wanting to rent from someone that cares.
RENTER BEWARE!!! I couldn't agree with the other reviewer more. DO NOT RENT FROM ADCO!! There are SO many other much nicer apartments in the Buffalo area... it's not worth saving a few bucks to live in these cheap, crappy apartments run by inefficient, irresponsible, mentally deficient jerks. I lived at one of their properties for a year, and I could barely take it for that long. very clean. The place was very clean. I liked the light color of the new carpet. I did not like dark color carpet, cause it looked like very dirty. It was nice and quiet. The other families living there were friendly. The location was wonderful. The prices were competitive. The owners take security very seriously.
This company actually cares about its tenants and apartments! Being a college student, I have had my fair share of lousy, cheap, rundown apartments. I finally moved into an apartment at Nicholson Avenue in Buffalo by UB South Campus, and I could not be more satisfied. You can do better... ADCO Properties is a small business, but they run their operation as if they were a major corporate entity: they treat their tenants like numbers. After completing two leases, I requested a short term accommodation, they demanded a renewal immediately for a full term lease. Their initial price was a bait-and-switch tactic. Instead of offering my first lease at 12 months, they offered an 8 month lease. I didn't think much of it, until the renewal came in with a hefty increase in monthly rate. I just shrug... read more
ADCO PROPERTIES WERE PROFESIONAL AND COURTEOUS In my time living in the losson garden apartments I had no real issues with the apartment or the company. They came in after buying the property and put alot of money into the place. When my dishwasher broke they came and replaced it as opposed to the previous owner who would just make the cheapest temporary fix so it would break again in a couple months.
