This was my first time to do zoom videos for anything at first I really didn't think it was gonna be as awesome as it was but boy I was wrong if you get a chance to visit with the Adapt group do it it is well worth it the teachers are great and so are the other clients.
At Adapt the combined curriculum, love & care of a listening therapist type counselor, I experienced uplifting Relief in the unique listening & sharing atmosphere. Also, I experienced more than just Freedom from alcohol , that slowly took control over me. I magically adapted to an enthusiastic attitude to replace the damages & Shame of the past , to moving forward & not looking back. Grateful to be apart of a place that really is there to help you staff is wonderful and will be by your side to show you the next step to better you life
As far as the curriculum it really works. There are some things that could be improved such as the phone situation. Phone calls cost entirely too much. It has to change. Also men are only allowed to shave on Sundays which is not cool. Im fine with the no cell phones during your stay but there should be time allotted to use the Internet to look for jobs. Other than that the counselors were awesome. I left a changed man.
