After closing on our home, the builder installed a large swale on our property that extends approximately 5 feet beyond the 25-foot setback and runs the length of our one-acre lot. The swale and accompanying check dams were installed incorrectly, resulting in significant erosion of our land. Buyer beware— If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Yesterday my wife and I thought we found our forever home being built by Adams Homes. We toured a model with their agent, Angie Dierks.
