I called this place three separate times, and each time, after finally getting through, the person who answered just said “please hold” without even asking if I was okay to wait. I was then left on hold for about five minutes with no one getting back to me, so I eventually had to hang up. This happened all three times I called, and I didn’t make the calls back-to-back—I gave breaks in between. Very unprofessional and disappointing service from the staff.
These guys had a core 6.0 LQ4, I needed the block for rebuilding. The price was just ok - the guy on the phone said if I brought cash there'd be room for negotiation. When I got there, there was not. I was sold what I found on car-part.com: a "core" engine. After dismantling, I found the #1 main spun rendering the block unusable. To this establishment, a core is not guaranteed rebuildable.
