Dr. Williams was amazing with my son and his issues. My son has had allergy and asthma issues for a few years now, we wasted time and money with a different allergist, who did no testing and pretty much dismissed our concerns. Dr Williams did testing for both allergies and asthma at his appointment and gave us a plan for treatment. He was thorough and understanding
I have never encountered a physician who was as rude and condescending as this one. From the moment he entered the room, he appeared irritated by my presence. He spent several minutes explaining the difference between allergies and autoimmune conditions in a dismissive manner and repeatedly implied that I should not have been there at all, stating that if I had allergies, I would “know it.” Despite the fact that I work in medicine, he continued to speak to me in an extremely patronizing tone, going so far as to explain basic... read more
For the past 1.5 years, I had 3 doctors refer me to him and he denied all 3 of them. He said my symptoms did not fit that of an allergy. It turn out he was wrong. I wasted 1.5 years chasing all these other possibilities because of his incompetence. Summit needs to fire him. I'm so mad I wasted all that money trying other things. I almost feel like suing them!
Despite all the negative reviews, I personally had a wonderful experience. I took my daughter up 3 hours to meet with him about her possible dairy allergy. He came in and got straight to the point which I appreciated but others may take it as condescending. He sat and listened when I told him about symptoms she was having and even had me review family medical background of allergies. This doctor gaslit me in many ways and dismissed my mast cell activation syndrome as a one time allergy. When Ohsu referred me back to him for blood testing for tree nuts so I didn’t have to drive over the pass he called me directed day of and canceled my appointment. He is cold and limited in his scope. I had no success with any allergists in the Bend area. Go to Portland.
