Terrible doctor. All he cares about is the number of clients he sees a day. I took a day off of work because of numbness in my hands and leg. (It was happening for months) He told me it was ulnar nerve compression and to do PT and come back in 3 weeks and maybe then we can run tests. I’m fairly young and the numbness in my hands and legs is scary. I called the office after and said I think something is wrong. Doctor just prescribed me steroids. I didn’t take them an talked to my primary care doctor. I told her something is w... read more

I am truly upset at Dr. Bennett’s behavior in our appointment. Instead of taking even 5 seconds to understand that I am training competitively for a sport I love, he told me to quit and try spin and basically mansplained exercise to me despite the fact that I have been working o it consistently for over 8 years. He nearly got up to leave before even telling me what was wrong and I had to ask! Wait for an appointment elsewhere because this has been a truly negative experience

First, I do appreciate Northwestern for the quick and easy scheduling process to be seen by him on such short notice (due to an post ER visit for a knee injury-much needed to follow up with Ortho). As far as MyChart communication, I am impressed by his staff's response time and ability to get in touch with the patient. However, I only spoke with Dr. Bennet for a mere 5-7 minutes. Yes he examined my knee and asked a few questions but he didn't go into depth about my previous knee history or concerned with my lupus perhaps fac... read more

I saw Dr. Adam Bennett after being referred to him by my internist whom I respect. Dr. Bennett’s office was located inside Lake Forest Hospital (but I did not have any discomfort going there, even amid all the Covid craziness.) Dr. Bennet listened well, asked appropriate questions, and did a hands-on exam of my back, hips, etc. He had read the x-ray notes from the radiologist and wasn’t completely satisfied that he had nailed down my problem. So, Dr. Bennett ordered an MRI to get a better view of what the issue really was. I... read more

I agree dr benette rushes too much when you go see him. He also told me to stop walking and swim ! Yeah right when I cant swim at all. I cant get water in my ears. I dont feel that caring patient doctor relationship with this guy. He told me I should get these 3 shots which I did for pain in my knee and I did they didnt work. made the pain worst in my knee. I am looking else where for another doctor at northshore.
