This doctor took care of my husband’s hip a few years ago and was personable, caring and so kind. We haven’t found another orthopedist as good in our area!
My husband Michael saw Dr Sassoon for a hip reconstruction that was beyond the scope of then, 2015-16 Group Health doctors. He was even able to lengthen his right leg, and because his experience was so positive, I too saw him for my left hip, which if capable of travel to Seattle, after it becoming so much worse, I’d definitely recommend to anyone who can! I felt his bed side manner was superior to others and appreciated the care given to Michael. I wish he did more follow up, as he’s only had that hip and leg checked once s... read more

I was a patient of Dr. Sassoon several years ago when the artificial hip that was put in me at the age of 25 wore out 30 years later. The hip was so bad doctors in Silverdale and Tacoma declined to operate on it and I was referred to Doctor Sassoon. At our first meeting he told me it was the worst hip he had ever seen. It took 2 operations to replace it and of this writing several years later it is pain free. This doctor is rude and arrogan. My pain was poorly controlled and he didn't seem to care. Not realizing that it was against the rules, my husband brought a small bottle of alcohol to my room so that he could have a drink if he had problems sleeping the night of my surgery. The nurse found it and reported it. Dr Sasoon decided that I am an alcoholic. I didn't even know that my husband brought the alcohol. It was never opened.
