A few years ago I went to Dr Butera. After several visits I had to find a real psychiatrist. Dr. Butera made a determination on my issues, not by actually talking to me like I was a real person, but by sitting a good eight to ten feet away from me. I really liked Dr. Butera at first because it seemed he cared about my concerns but after I got on my two medications I realized that I would need someone else for further diagnoses that I was concerned about. I just don’t think I should have to mention something like possible OCD symptoms more than once before there’s some kind of testing or further questioning about it. I have been seeing Dr. Butera for way over 10 years and I have always seen him. I have always asked him to continue seeing him and not the PA due to specific problems and he said he would not change me and supposedly put it in my chart but as of my last appointment I have been changed and I am NOT happy about it. Granted I like Kim I feel more comfortable talking to Dr Butera. I hate to but if I cannot get this resolved I may have to change and go to someone else
Update: I have now been seeing Dr. Butera for over 5 years. I currently drive from Dallas to WF to see him (I don’t do telehealth if I can avoid it). Dr. Butera is hands down the best doc I’ve ever had, I will continue to see him for the foreseeable future. I quite literally owe my life to him! Thank you so much for the wonderful care Dr B! I started seeing Dr. B about 2 years ago. I would highly recommend him. He truly cares about his patients and wants to do what is necessary to make sure you are feeling your best.
Absolutely the best staff around. Love the doctor, love Kim and You will not find a better nurse! I will review them every time I visit if I have to, because this office deserves 5 stars. Sometimes you have to wait but they offer every way of convenience possible. Sometimes the waiting is because they’re helping a patient the same way you hope they help you, be patient. Super fast at returning calls and always call back. Rachel is the best!
