Dr. Polifka first saw me years after a horseback riding injury to my low back. I put off surgery as long as I could, too long to be honest, until I had left foot drop. Dr. Polifka removed a synovial cyst pressing on my sciatic nerve and gave me my life back. I was having excruciating pain for 9 months, had done MRI, took 5 doctors before Dr Polifka to do nothing and finally Dr Polifka--1st visit, knew solution, booked surgery and now I'm healed. I am beyond grateful to Dr Polifka and Lyerly staff for helping me. He's the best.
