Dr. Cassis performed cochlear implant surgery on me in October 2025. I was terrified - he listened to my concerns; reassured when he could and was honest when helping me face the risks. I don’t do surgery well and never had such a good experience as I had with Dr. Cassis. I was taken on time and released just about 3 hours later. I had few side effects to the surgery and was out with friends the next day. Have been activated for about 2 months - before the implant I had 0 comprehension. Today it was 79%! Dr, Cassis did my Cochlear Implant on 03 Dec 25, being the Doc of choice at the V.A. He is kind, caring, and very attentive. His surgical skills are impressive: we had an excellent electrode placement; there was very little pain afterwards, and I weaned off the Rx Vicodin in less than a week; the two-week post-op visit at the V.A. I can't recommend Dr. Cassis enough; knowledgeable, great bedside manner, no rush appointment, and he will answer all questions so you can understand. Excellent ENT I'm lucky I was recommended to him.
Dr. Cassis is amazing! I had been to multiple doctors and could not get relief from my excruciating ear pain and infection. He stopped my pain and helped the infection after one visit. I feel so blessed to have been referred to him. I highly recommend him!
Doctor Cassis implanted me with Cochlear America, the first one in September ’24, the second February ‘25. I couldn’t be happier, I knew the risks and asked myself: What do I have to loose? Nothing was the answer. I have gained 100% speech understanding in quiet and 74% in noise. It took work, dedication and determination. Doctor Cassis is an incredible surgeon. He gave me the gift of really hearing back. Forever grateful. Now to alter the tattoo 🤭
