If there were ten stars Dr. Lewis deserves the A+ guy and did a fantastic job on my 93-year-old fathers surgery
Dr. Lewis has been very professional and caring. He returned my wife to life and visited her every single day she was at the hospital. He was so compationate and responsible.
I am very pleased with how Dr. Lewis took care of my father. He is extremely compassionate and resolved all of our concerns with diligence. His bedside manner exceeded expectations. The office team was polite and empathetic. Thank you.
I worked with this surgeon for 4 years in the operating room before I retired. He was amazing! The instruments he used were simply extensions of his hands… amazing! He was so tuned in to the anatomy that he could actually feel when his instruments touched specific structures I had an acoustic neuroma surgically removed in 1983 and was thrilled to talk to his patients pre-op, long before he performed that same surgery, when other options weren’t available. Wish he was closer! I’m in Florida now, and I really wanted him to hel... read more
My husband had a broken back in November of 2023 that was infected. My husband could not walk, stand, urinate, or have a bowel movement, Dr. Lewis performed surgery and saved his life, there is not reason to sugar coat this, my husband is walking, bending and all things are working correctly. He has nerve issues, but that has to do with having a broken back for 3 plus months. If it weren’t for Dr. Lewis, my husband would not be here today. Dr. Lewis will always be my hero. We recently drove to Texas from Mississippi to have ... read more
woke up from my operation with severe nerve pain that I didn’t have before I went in. Dr lewis never came to check on me. Did not keep me overnight like I asked for pain control. Did not give me adequate pain medication when I came in and only after many times going back to his office he finally admitted that I had a pinched nerve. I would not recommend him to anyone. I just learned yesterday that he left his hospital and his office without giving any notice and he is now practicing in Texas. Bad doctor.
professional, thorough, wonderful staff
Dr. Lewis has helped me with several spine problems since August, 2006. He is very competent and is comfortable with me in explaining my situation and options. He does not hesitate to use teaching aids to help me understand what is going on in my spine. He is an excellent doctor.
Office visits were usually long and disorganized. So far, a year into me dealing with him, I hurt worse now than I did when I started. He tends to be dismissive and you aren’t really sure if he is hearing what you are telling him. Disappointed as he came highly recommended and seems to be falling short of that expectation.
Adam I. Lewis, M.D. has a 3.9 star rating with 95 reviews.
