Dr. Arnofsky and Dr. Hastings pushed my 79 year old mother into having the TAVR procedure. She did in fact have aortic stenographers but due to the fact that she was extremely frail she developed a rapid onset of dementia. I begged them to the frailty tests but they said she was a good can to candidate.she was not. Within three months she no longer knew who her family was, could not clean herself or feed herself. She passed away soon after.
Dr was very detailed with his diagnosis and what the procedure would involve. We knew right away the open heart was the way to go and we were inspired by his confidence
I am confident in Dr. Arnofsky. I feel I am in good hands. He explained my condition in depth. The staff is very attentive , skillful and professional. I am positive the surgery will be a success.
