I highly recommend Dr. Kurtin. He is a superior surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Kurtin recently operated on my 94-year-old mother using robotics to successfully remove a portion of her colon. Mom healed quickly and is living a good life thanks to Dr. Kurtin! Celebrating 5 years of being alive today (surgery date: Nov. 25, 2019)! Still so thankful to Dr. Adam Kurtin & team for successfully performing emergency surgery on me for advanced Necrotizing Fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria) with severe Sepsis. Since my emergency surgery for Necrotizing Fasciitis happened close to Thanksgiving in 2019, each year at this time I include Dr. Adam Kurtin as one of the blessings I’m very thankful for! Some years ago I had stage 2 thyroid cancer. The cancer had grown onto my vocal cords. He spent a couple of more hours skilfully scraping the cancer off. He is amazingly skilled and talented! He is kind, compassionate and caring. After any surgery I run fevers so I was in the hospital 3 days and he checked on me each day. My husband and I will always appreciate what he did for me. I would never choose another surgeon. I trust him absolutely with my life

I had an appointment to have a thyroid biopsy scheduled on May 11th after waiting 5 weeks to have this procedure. I have a family history of thyroid issues so naturally I was looking forward to having this over with. The day of the surgery we were stuck in traffic about 1 mile away and I called to let them know we were around the next block. I made the appointment based on a referral from our primary physician. My Dr. needed Dr. Kurtain to review ultrasound results. Before coming to the appointment I asked if patients were allowed to bring an advocate with them. After signing in, one of the nurses opened the door from the back and said all visitors needed to wait outside. Living in Florida in the mid afternoon temperatures are well over 90 degrees. This dr Was late 4 hours for my first surgery. The second surgery he placed a port which was placed wrong and too deep to gain access. My arm and location of port became swollen and lots of blood clots formed I called his office 3 times advising of pain and that arm and fingers were swollen and I was in a lot of pain. I never received a call back. I was rushed by ambulance to ER and remained in hospital for over a week because of severity of blood clots caused from his placement of port.
