Dr. McKenzie and her staff are top-notch. She has an outstanding personalty and world-class training, and her staff are very good at what they do. Entire staff is friendly and supportive. She is my go-to for periodontal care. She was recommended by my dentist, and I consider myself very lucky to have found her practice. Another wonderful product of the UMKC Dental School. Her hygienist, Kara, also is a UMKC graduate.
It was very painless! I was expecting pain, blood, etc., but your people put me at ease and it turned out to be without pain, blood, etc. I even got to listen to classical music. Your people, from Sally at the front desk to Dr. McKenzie, were wonderful.
I came for a second opinion because I wasn't satisfied with what my dentist had done. They took my blood pressure made me wait 30 minutes and I could HEAR her on the phone with my dentist. She said "well I'm glad I called". When I called I told them my situation and my blood pressure was high and that I had read on their website about the relationship between heart disease and blood pressure. Woohoo! She fixed my problem and I didn’t feel a thing. After-care is well-planned and thoroughly communicated. My entire experience was great, from consult all the way through to the surgery. I had a lot of fear going into the gum graft. It was unfounded and completely in my head. I’d do it again 100 times if needed. Thank you!!
