Bruno is a master. We have worked with him on two projects, a mid-century modern chest of drawers that was water stained and falling apart and he did an amazing job restoring it. He also restored a set of classic parsons tables that were water stained and made them like new. He is accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
Bruno’s work with precious antiques is superlative. He is well studied on the subject and his restoration of such is top notch.
When I moved to Hoboken in '95 my first furniture purchase was a bench. Over the years it has served as a coffee table and more recently a bench on my terrace. From all the outside elements it had rusted. I made a few phone calls and was getting disheartened when I came across ADA. I knew Bruno was going to be the person to restore the bench back to its original beauty! I am very grateful to his talent and time to restore this sentimental piece of furniture !
Bruno is as much an artist as a craftsman. His restoration work respects an objects age and patina while securing that it will last for another generation. Bruno has restored a large secretary and marquetry table for us. He transformed them from fragile, broken pieces to beautiful, authentic antiques that we are no longer afraid to use. Bruno has great skill and mastery of both woodworking and finishes.
Bruno has restored quite a few pieces for us & frankly, the care & expertise that is put into each one, from top to bottom is amazing. He has counseled us on the care & selection of our pieces as well as transformed one of our mediocre pieces into a modern masterpiece. Old world training & techniques married with new world expertise can only be a win-win!
