Please be advised to see all the prior reviews before agreeing to sign a lease with this company. I will start with the lone good and that is with Brandon and Jona who both seemed like decent people. The one star is attributable solely to Danielle Grossman, who clearly has a severe lack of regard for the law or respect for her tenants. After verbally agreeing to a lease renewal rate and length with her, we waited on her to send us a new lease. I’ve lived in this building for four years, and the only reason I remain is because the apartment is rent-controlled. Unfortunately, the management experience has been consistently poor. The management company—particularly Brandon in Manhattan, operates in a completely unprofessional manner. Communication is dismissive and repetitive, with the same scripted responses given regardless of the severity or frequency of the issue. Overall, this has been a really poor experience as a tenant. I paid premium rent and several thousand dollars upfront, but didn’t receive a signed lease for weeks, which created unnecessary stress leading up to move-in. Communication from the office has been inconsistent throughout. There have been frequent water shutoffs without notice, ongoing leaks and signs of mold, and common areas that are often dirty with ongoing trash issues. Danielle is the worst rep we have ever worked with and everyone else I know who has worked with her feels the same. Response time takes months (literally) after emailing and calling numerous times, and she is now telling us we won’t get our security deposit back because we aren’t giving 30 days notice, even though it took forever for us to even get a response to extend our lease by a few months in the first place and our apartment has been infested with mice that they have not dealt with for over a year.
