I purchased a 2*** ************* **** from Acura of Stamford, and it turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. This vehicle was a lemon from the start. I had issues with it almost immediately after driving off the lot — warning lights, mechanical problems, and constant malfunctions. I brought the car back to their service department FIVE times, and each time they failed to properly fix anything. Jaime was great and went above and beyond to get me a good deal, I will say there needs to be better communication. As a customer coming from Massachusetts you would think a dealership on a bordering state would have a runner in order to make registration seamless, especially knowing that MA doesn’t allow temp, or dealer plates. My sales person didn’t really know too much about the process until after I signed and paid for my deal. I just wish I was told it would take WEEKS to receive my plates in the mail. We have been dealing with Acura of Stamford for over a year now to have our Acura MDX fix for a P0300 code (multiple misfire). My wife had taken the vehicle over to the dealership several times. They've charged her for maintenance that were partly done and not done at all. Based on the invoices, spark plugs (6), ignition coils (6), gasket set and all valve adjustments (all 24) were performed. The ECM was claimed to be reset, car tested and normal operation restored.
