Worst experience for eye care ever. Facility is COLD, staff is Cold, Dr. Chang has no manners.(1) saw Dr. Ward on second visit scared the hell out of me with his diagnoses. (2) The optical dept couldn’t help with a prescription (3) Referred for lab work (4). 1. Referred me to another Dr. in Long Beach - no transportation. 2. After learning she was affiliated with Acuity Eye Group in Arcadia, I realized I had a duty to warn others about her unethical practices. I am here specifically to call out an employee by the name of Gilman. This man has helped me twice (!) with glasses that I DID NOT purchase from their storefront. No questions asked he just fixed what needed mending. I will be buying all my specs from this gentleman. So refreshing to come across people who are there to be of help and actually deliver.
THIS PLACE IS SO GOD AWFUL!!!!!!!!! IVE NEVER HAD THIS HORRIBLE OF AN EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!!!! THE STAFF IS SO INCREDIBLY INCOMPETENTE AND ARGUMENTATIVE ITS WILD!!!! They told me I had glaucoma and needed to see a specialist, so I made an appointment with their specialist and the closest appointment they had was 2 months away. 1/30/25 UPDATE. Be careful if you have Cigna open access or PPO as they do not know if their drs are credentialed with Cigna network and will cause you to go out of network. I was the one to bring it up to them and they HAD NO IDEA their dr was no longer in network with Cigna. Absolutely atrocious billing. Horrible billing. This is second time that I’ve wasted a lot of my time trying to get ahold of someone to pay my bill.
