Acuff Homes did an amazing job on our remodel! If we ever had questions, concerns, or inquiries they were incredibly helpful and timely. One aspect that stuck out to me was that they were open to critiques and changes we requested. Many times we would suggest a different style or build and they would do all the leg work to ensure that our vision was met! We were under the impression this was an honest company but we did not read his reviews until it was too late. Our re model was a disaster. The house was not completed as guaranteed which caused us to stay home and meet contractors for 4 weeks non stop. When we spoke to the contractors they expressed so much regret for working with this GC. Their common complaint was that they were NEVER PAID. Terrible experience. Everyone warned me of this disaster but I didn’t have a choice because I lived in San Diego while remodeling. The stories I could tell after I did the investigation will make you cringe. Ring cameras are fantastic. They hold up in court too. I highly recommend them if you need proof that your contractor is cheating you.
Russ and Carrie are a pleasure to work with. Our home is amazing and was totally worth the wait. Update: 10 months since moving in and I absolutely love our house. Any issues that have come up, Russ gets it taken care of. If we had to build again, there is no other builder I’d choose!
