We had a great experience working with Acton ADU on our ADU project, and I want to give a special shoutout to Sandro. Sandro was fantastic from start to finish—always professional, easy to talk to, and super responsive whenever we had questions. Sandro kept everything on track, paid close attention to detail, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Acton ADU built a 600 sq ft house on my property in 2023 and while the unit itself came out OK, the subcontractors they used to install the utilities were not. A year ago under the kitchen sink developed a leak which required the back wall to be redone. The water heater runs almost all the time and is quite loud but no one has been able to correct this ongoing expense so I'm pretty sure the problem is the installation. My hubby and I ended up constructing attached ADU for his father, and we contracted with ADU Builders Bay Area after speaking with several different firms. They weren't the lowest bid, but their bid was the most realistic, and their team appeared the most knowledgeable. Our property wasn't the easiest to work with (a bit of a slope and narrow access), but they worked it out without making it our issue. His professionalism and guidance eased a lot of stress as we went through the process of this build that had many custom details.
