My hubby and I ended up constructing attached ADU for his father, and we contracted with ADU Builders Bay Area after speaking with several different firms. His professionalism and guidance eased a lot of stress as we went through the process of this build that had many custom details. For an ADU, the way to go is with ActonADU as they design-build the project and work through all the permit hurdles. There are just too many details to work through that need the expertise of an org such as ActonADU to get things done well. The sub-contractors tell me they like working with ActonADU, which is a good endorsement. Enjoyed working with Sandro to overcome issues and questions that come up with a custom build. From the moment we started speaking with Acton about our ADU we could tell they understood the full process from initial design and permits to full buildout.
