RecommendedMy daughter has been doing cheer through active stars for the last few years and she loves it And my son started at a white belt and is now a green belt through karate the coaches are so hands on in the events are spectacular they get you riled up even on You're worse day and to top it off The prices are within reason it Won't break the bank
My daughter participated in the Varsity cheer group up until today. She participated at the location at Carminati school in Tempe. From the first practice registration was completely unorganized. Thank goodness I registered online. There is no phone number to contact if your student is going to miss or if you have a question. Our coaches are highly vetted and trained in regards to all aspects of cheerleading progression and safety. We regret you did not enjoy your experience with our program, but we are constantly striving for ways to improve.
I absolutely love my location, canyon ridge. Coach amber is amazing and so great with my girls. Also love coach Lauren . My girls absolutely love going Monday’s and we will be returning next season
I have 2 kids in 2 different sports. They love it . It's a good place to start. I wish the classes were longer. Also for the cheer they need to do more tumbling and stunting . Oh yeah they need mats at every practice . I think that would help them alot. So they would learn more.
If I could put a zero for this company I would! I'm from the northwest that you fired the owner knowing you were going to do this before the spring semester but waited until two weeks into it. After parents paid in full. Order your uniforms and then just dropped us all. Coaches never got paid and parents never got a refund. What a scam this place is. So unprofessional. My son was enrolled in NW Activstars karate. We show up one day and they’re is no classes anymore, mind you we had to find out from another parent who was kind enough to wait to inform others that the classes had to cancelled indefinitely. They sent out no warning of this nor had any staff to let us know. This was over 3 months ago, I had paid my sons karate in full and have yet to receive my refund for this, was given a number to call for my refund and no one ever answers or responds. Straight robbery.

This organization is seriously one of the worst I have come across, its disgusting to see how money hungry a company that is supposed to be for kids is. I signed my son up for soccer and I can honestly say the experience was horrible. The coaches only cared about collecting the money. They didn't teach the kids a single thing about soccer, they didn't bother with trying to remember any names or which kids belong to what team. 15 minutes games and no fun at all .
My daughter has been on the desert horizon jr all star team since 2015 and she loves it. She has made so many new friends. She attends every spring, summer,and winter. It has been great for her self esteem and physically great too. She has had 2 great coach’s that have taught her many things. Thanks coach Kayla and coach Cassie you both are awesome coaches and great with the kids.
I would not recommend to anyone! First off it was never stated when we signed up or even at the first lesson(that we were allowed to sit in) that they don’t want you inside for the lessons. Actually told a friend of mine she can’t even sit in the hallway, that they really wanted her to go outside the building. Our kids are 4&5...no thank you. My son has been in for over 2 months now and knows zero karate. Class and company have no organization or structure! They don’t even know the kids names. We will not be back next year.

For over 30 years, ACTIVSTARS has been providing youth programs in the safest possible settings conducive to the best possible learning environment. We do state our spectator policy during our 1st-day orientation and have our policy written on our Welcome Letter and on our website.
